Bandung, March 11, 2023 – Career Development Division of KMM ITB has launched the Mentorship Career Path, to help students explore and prepare for the job market through mentoring with SBM ITB alumni who have experience in specific fields. The program aims to help participants meet recruitment standards, such as creating a CV, conducting interviews effectively, and knowing what skills they need to prepare.
The alumni who are involved as mentors in this program are as follows:
- Virda Aisyah Maulina – Head of Area at Nestlé
- Bill Krismon – Assistant Supply Chain Finance Manager at Unilever
- Fathan Ramadhan – Associate Consultant at Michael Page
- Endhita Dhestiana – Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding at PT Prudential Life Assurance
- Muhamad Ilham Noer Fauzi – Learning and People Development at Shipper
- Dita Indah Syahrani – Assistant Brand Manager Innovation of Rinso at Unilever
- Felix Limanjaya – Expansion Strategy and Operations at Blibli
- Anjas Irwansyah – Business Development Analyst at E-Commerce
The Mentorship Career Path program will provide direct training for participants on the recruitment process, including document selection (CV and other supporting documents) and other recruitment processes such as interviews. The program consists of two parts, Mentor CV and Mentor Interview, with detailed objectives as follows:
CV Mentoring:
- Helping participants to review their CV
- Providing information on creating a good and correct CV
- Providing a platform for participants to ask questions about important information that should be included in the CV
- Giving insights into common mistakes when creating a CV
- Providing information on good and bad CV models.
Interview Mentoring:
- Helping participants to practice and prepare for interviews in recruitment processes
- Providing information on the technical and non-technical aspects that need to be prepared during interviews
- Giving insights into common interview questions asked by recruiters
- Providing information on preparing alternative answers to certain questions
- Giving insights into things to avoid during interviews.
There are 32 participants registered in this program who are SBM ITB Management students from the 2023 & 2024, and 2025 TPB SBM ITB Students. The program will be conducted online via Zoom Meetings from March 11 to March 26, 2023, which started with an online gathering between mentors and mentees on March 11, and continued with CV and interview sessions from March 13 to March 26.
The program is guided by mentors who will review the participants’ CVs and conduct interview simulations. Each session will be conducted with a maximum of four participants, and scheduled at a mutually agreed time within the designated time range. The scope of discussion will revolve around CV and Interview best practices in the recruitment process for their future career.
“The purpose of the Mentorship Career Path program is to provide participants with an overview when they want to enter a job or internship that is in line with the concentration chosen by the students.,” said Alfreya from KMM ITB. Hope that participants will gain valuable insights from experienced alumni and will be better prepared for the recruitment process.
SBM-ITB always synergizes and collaborates with industries, and involves alumni in preparing the students for their career readiness program.
